HEV IgM Rapid Test Cassette (Serum/Plasma)

The HEV lgM Rapid Test Cassette (Serum/Plasma) is a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of IgM antibody to hepatitis E virus(HEV) in human serum or plasma. It is intended to be used as a screening test and as an aid in the diagnosis of infection with HEV. It is for professional in vitro diagnostic use only.

    DIRECTIONS FOR USE

    Allow test cassette, specimen, buffer,and/or controls to equilibrate to room temperature (15-30°C) prior to

    testing.

    1. Remove the test cassette from the foil pouch and use it as soon as possible. Best results will be obtained if the

    assay is performed within one hour.

    2. Place the test cassette on a clean and level surface. Be sure to label the device with specimen’s ID number.

    3. Dip the sampling loop into specimen totally and rotate 2-3 cycles. Holding the sampling loop vertically, put the

    sampling loop into the sample well (S) till touching sample pad (approx.3μL). Then add 2 drops(approx. 50-70μL) of

    buffer immediately into the buffer well (B) and start the timer. Avoid air bubbles. See illustration below.

    4. Wait for the red line(s) to appear. The result should be read in 15 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 15

    minutes.
